Establishment of Agroha Development Trust

Shri Rameshwardas Gupta drafted the constitution for the Agroha Development Trust. This draft underwent months of scrutiny. Subsequently, during the convention of the All India Agarwal Conference held on May 8-9, 1976, in Indore, the general assembly approved the constitution of the 'Agroha Development Trust.' Shri Rameshwardas Gupta was tasked with registering this trust in Delhi and fulfilling the formalities of income tax.

After returning from the Indore convention, Shri Rameshwardas Gupta submitted the constitution of the Agroha Development Trust to the Society Registrar in Delhi for registration. The registration of the trust was completed on July 9, 1976 (refer to page 5). Following this, the trust was also registered under section 12 of the Income Tax Act (refer to page 6), and a certificate of exemption under section 40-G was obtained.

The foundation stone for Agroha Dham was laid by Shri Shreekishan Modi, the then-chairman of the All India Agarwal Association, on September 29, 1978.

The construction work of Agroha Dham began with the construction of the Dharamshala. As for water, it was not available in Agroha at that time. The then Minister of Agroha Construction Committee, Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta, used to send water daily from Hisar to Agroha with his tanker.

The construction of 22 rooms and facilities in the Dharamshala has been completed.

Look at how rugged this place was, now being flattened by a bulldozer. The wall you see in front was built to prevent rainwater from flowing away. Now, this wall showcases a magnificent view of 'Samudra Manthan' within the Shakti Sarovar.

Now, along with the road outside Agroha Dham (National Highway-10, now renamed as 'Maharaja Agrasen Raj Marg'), stone walls have also been constructed.

A 10-room guest accommodation has also been completed. Each room is equipped with a kitchen and attached bathroom. Additionally, a common bathing area and toilets have also been constructed.

With great difficulty, the boat has been brought out from the swirling currents. Where just yesterday there was nothing but dust flying in the air, today there stands a park. It's adorned with soft grass, trees swaying gently, fragrances wafting from the flower beds, and all around, lush greenery abounds.
