Establishment of Agroha Vikas Trust

Shri Rameshwardas Gupta drafted the constitution of Agroha Vikas Trust. This draft underwent an in-depth review for several months. Subsequently, during the All India Agarwal Mahasabha convention held in Indore on May 8-9, 1976, the Mahasabha approved the constitution of 'Agroha Vikas Trust.' Shri Rameshwardas Gupta was entrusted with the responsibility of registering this trust in Delhi and completing the formalities related to income tax.

After returning from the Indore convention, Shri Rameshwardas Gupta submitted the constitution of Agroha Vikas Trust to the Society Registrar in Delhi for registration. The trust was officially registered on July 9, 1976 (see page 5). Subsequently, the trust was also registered under Section 12 of the Income Tax Act (see page 6) and obtained a tax exemption certificate under Section 40-G.

The foundation stone of Agroha Dham was laid by Shri Shrikishan Modi, the then President of Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sangh, on September 29, 1978.

The construction of Agroha Dham began with the establishment of a Dharamshala. At that time, there was no water available in Agroha. Shri Suresh Kumar Gupta, the then minister of the Agroha Construction Committee, used to send water daily from Hisar to Agroha using his own tanker.

The construction of 22 rooms and facilities in the Dharamshala has been completed.

Look at how rough this area was, which is now being leveled using a bulldozer. The wall in front was built to prevent the flow of rainwater. Now, this very wall presents a grand view of the 'Samudra Manthan' within Shakti Sarovar.

Now, stone walls have also been constructed along the road outside Agroha Dham (on National Highway-10, now known as Maharaja Agrasen Raj Marg).

The 10-room guest accommodation has also been completed. Each room is equipped with a kitchen and an attached bathroom. In addition, a common bathing area and toilets have also been provided.

With great effort, the boat has been pulled out of the flowing water. Where only dust was flying yesterday, today there stands a beautiful park. It is adorned with soft grass, gently swaying tree branches, the fragrance of flower gardens, and lush greenery all around.
