Dr. Subhas Chandra
Dear Agrawal brothers,
It is a matter of pride and joy for the entire Agrawal community that the website of our Agrawal family is coming up in a new look and with detailed information. We are all descendants of Maharaja Agrasen, who had made an arrangement during his rule that if any stranger wants to come and live or do business in his kingdom, he will be helped by giving one brick and one gold seal from every family.
Today, keeping the same tradition alive, the people of Agrawal community have created their unique identity not only in the entire country but also in the whole world. Wherever the people of our community have gone, they have not only kept their language, culture, family values and traditions alive but through them they have also mingled with those people to whom they were unknown.
Since ancient times, the people of Agrawal community had established the tradition of charity along with business. Today, when we go to any religious place, we see an inscription of some Dharamshala, well or stepwell being built by some Agrawal brother, then we feel proud that our ancestors always kept the spirit of charity paramount.
From the freedom struggle to every field of society, people of the Agrawal community have contributed immensely. People of the Agrawal community have left their mark in the country's politics as well as in the religious field. Among them are countless names like Hanuman Prasad Poddar, founder of Geeta Press Gorakhpur, Ram Manohar Lohia and Jamnalal Bajaj.
Even today, people of the Agrawal community have hoisted their flag in every field in the country and the world. The Agrawal community contributes about 20 percent to the country's GDP. Our community has been playing an important role in the economic, intellectual, social, and religious development of the country.
Through this website, we want to bring all the Agrawal brothers of the country and the world on one platform. We want all the Agrawal brothers, no matter in which field they are working, to connect with each other through this website. All the people of the community, wherever they are, should feel that they are all one among themselves and we are all members of the same family.
The concept of this website will be realized only when all the people of the society, whether they are doing small business, or are employed or running a big business, will come together and feel proud.
So come, let us all make this campaign prosperous by giving our humble contribution in this holy yagya of connecting all the people of the society together.
All should share information about their family, social activities, about their business, about their family with each other and strengthen their relationships.
If all the Agrawal brothers stay united, then they will become a strong voice in the society, country and in the field of politics.
Best regards,
Dr. Subhash Chandra
